MANILA, Philippines – Just a week after announcing their engagement, award-winning actor Cedrick Juan and theater star Kate Alejandrino are now officially married!
The couple exchanged vows in a simple yet romantic garden ceremony on Tuesday, February 25, surrounded by close friends and family. Sweet photos and clips of the intimate outdoor gathering were shared by guests on Instagram stories, and reposted by the couple.
Juan announced his engagement to Alejandrino on February 19. Alejandrino first made an appearance on Juan’s social media at the beginning of January.
Juan is a theater, TV, and film actor best known for his portrayal of Padre Jose Burgos in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 film GomBurZa, for which he took home the Best Actor award. He also starred as the young Makisig in the MMFF 2024 film The Kingdom.
Alejandrino is also a theater and screen actress, who has starred in films like Ten Little Mistresses, Respeto, The Oskars Fantasy, and Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap. She played Marigold in the series Lavender Fields.
