MANILA, Philippines – Club DJ Jellie Aw accused fiance Jam Ignacio of physical abuse as she posted disturbing photos of her injuries on Wednesday, February 12.
Aw suffered a busted lip, a swollen eye, and multiple cuts and bruises.
“Mapapatay mo ‘ko. Wala akong ginawang masama para ganituhin mo ‘ko. Halos mamatay ako sa ginawa mo! Papakulong kita!” Aw wrote on Facebook.
(You’re going to kill me. I didn’t do anything wrong for you to treat me like this. I almost died because of what you did. I’ll send you to jail.”
Aw’s sister, Jo, said Ignacio beat up Jellie in a car on their way home.
“Ni hindi makahingi ng tulong ate ko dahil kinuha mo ‘yung cellphone. Buti na lang hindi nabasa ‘yung RFID sa toll at nakasigaw ‘yung ate ko pagbaba ng bintana at nakahingi ng tulong sa teller sa toll gate. Ngayon, tinakbuhan mo ‘yung mga pulis!” said Jo.

“Wala kang awa! Demonyo, mapapatay mo na ate ko.”
(You have no mercy. You’re going to kill my sister, demon.)
Jo said they have reported Ignacio to the police.
Aw and Ignacio got engaged in November after four months of being together.
Before Aw, Ignacio was in a years-long relationship with actress-singer Karla Estrada that ended in 2024. – Rappler.com
