CEBU, Philippines – More than 300 sea vessels joined the fluvial procession held along Mactan Channel in Cebu for the annual celebration of Fiesta Señor and Sinulog 2025 on Saturday, January 18.
This sea parade, a highlight of the celebration, features colorful boats and ships that commemorate and reenact the arrival of the Santo Niño (Holy Child Jesus) on the shores of Cebu in 1521.
For this year, the MV Santo Niño de Cebu will be the galleon that will carry the image of the Holy Child during the fluvial procession.
