MANILA, Philippines – The election fever reaches another level after individuals and groups filed their respective certificates of candidacy (COC), marking an important part of the election season.
The COC filing from October 1 to 8 serves as a sneak peek into the campaign period for the 2025 elections. On Thursday, October 17, Rappler managing editor Miriam Grace Go sits down with multimedia reporters Dwight de Leon and Bea Cupin, and researcher-writer James Patrick Cruz to discuss the trends that came out of the COC filing and how these will play out in the coming months leading to the May 2025 polls.
